龙的转译历程：行动者网络理论视角下的翻译演变
The Translation Evolution of Loong: A Perspective from Actor-Network Theory on Translation Shifts

摘要: 在中国日益接近世界舞台中心这一历史语境下，对外翻译传播能力建设跃升前瞻性地位。中华文化中“龙”符号的翻译过程及其在传播中的意义演变要求识别“翻译中国”过程中的核心行动者、剖析关键行动者在翻译活动中的互动及其影响机制，以及理解文化适应与创新在翻译实践中的重要性。本文从拉图尔的行动者网络理论出发，分析“龙”的翻译为何能做到与日俱新，及其翻译过程中各关键行动者如何发挥作用提高中国对外翻译传播效能。
Abstract: As China increasingly moves toward the center of the global stage, the development of its capacity for international translation and communication has emerged as a forward-looking priority. The translation of the cultural symbol Loong, commonly known as dragon in English, and the evolution of its meaning in cross-cultural communication necessitate identifying the key actors in the process of "translating China," analyzing their interactions and mechanisms of influence within translation activities, and understanding the significance of cultural adaptation and innovation in translation practice. Drawing on Latour's Actor-Network Theory, this paper examines how the translation of Loong has continuously evolved to stay relevant and how key actors in its translation process contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of China's international translation and communication.
