On New Mass Literature and Art and the Reconstruction of the Popular Character:A Case Study of the Animated Film Nobody

摘要: 在“新大众文艺”的理论视域下,动画电影《浪浪山小妖怪》提供了一个考察“人民性”当代重构的典型样本。本文从叙事视角、美学形式与产业实践三个维度,分析该片如何通过聚焦“无名之辈”、激活传统水墨美学、构建“电影+”产业生态,完成了对“人民性”内涵的重新定义。《浪浪山》的实践揭示了“新大众文艺”视域下“人民性”重构的三重张力:叙事上从“英雄中心”向“平民共情”的位移、美学上从“民族形式”向“技术赋能”的转化、产业上从“作品生产”向“IP生态”的扩展,从而为理解数字时代中国文艺的人民性表达提供了新的理论视角。
Abstract: Within the theoretical framework of “New Mass Literature and Art,” the animated film Nobody provides a representative case for examining the contemporary reconstruction of the “popular character.” This paper analyzes how the film redefines the popular character from three dimensions: narrative perspective, aesthetic form, and industrial practice—by focusing on “ordinary people,” revitalizing traditional ink-wash aesthetics through digital technology, and constructing a “film+” industrial ecosystem. The study finds that the practice of Nobody reveals three key tensions in the reconstruction of the popular character within the context of New Mass Literature and Art: a narrative shift from "hero-centeredness" to "empathy with ordinary people"; an aesthetic transformation from "national form" to "technology-empowered expression"; and an industrial expansion from "work production" to “IP ecosystem.” This case offers a new theoretical perspective for understanding the expression of the popular character in contemporary Chinese literature and art in the digital age.
