数字人文视域下文化符号的转译效度——以《黑神话：悟空》“小西天”章节为例
Translation Validity of Cultural Symbols in the Digital Humanities Perspective: Taking the "The New West" in Black Myth: Wukong as an Example

摘要: 《黑神话：悟空》之“小西天”一章承载着极具东方哲学深度的文化符号体系，其翻译难点在于如何平衡文化本真性与跨文化可通约性。在文化翻译理论指导下，通过对游戏内英文版与外文出版社《西游记》英译版中传统文化表述的比较分析，笔者发现：中国文化对外传播需遵循“源语基因保留优先，目标语认知适配并行”的原则，可采用音译（音译、音译加注）、直译和直译+音译等译法；当源语意象与目标语文化存在强关联域时，创译法可打通文化的经脉。
Abstract: The chapter "The New West" in Black Myth: Wukong contains a cultural symbol system with Oriental philosophical depth. The translation challenge lies in balancing cultural authenticity and cross-cultural comprehensibility. Under the guidance of cultural translation theory, a comparative analysis was made between the in-game English version and Foreign Language Press’s English Journey to the West to disclose their different expressions of traditional culture. For the international dissemination of Chinese culture, as the author found, the principle of "prioritizing source-language gene retention while adapting to the target-language cognition" should be followed; transliteration (transliteration+annotation), literal translation, and literal translation plus transliteration are the basic methods of translation; when there is a strong associative domain between the source-language imagery and the target-language culture, the creative translation method becomes the key to cultural connectivity.
