“海上浮生”的镜像与褶皱——《繁花》中阿宝形象的多维解读
Mirrors and Folds of "A Floating Life on the Sea": A Multidimensional Interpretation of the Character A Bao in Blossoms

摘要: 金宇澄的长篇小说《繁花》以沪语叙事重建了上海半个世纪的城市记忆，其核心人物阿宝承载着复杂的文化意蕴与精神张力。本文通过文本细读、叙事分析与文化批评等方法，从文本特征、文化语境与跨学科视角三个层面，对阿宝形象进行多维解读。本文认为：阿宝的“不响”既是性格表征，也是生存策略与伦理姿态；他处于城市变迁、传统与现代、情义与利益的交汇点上，其形象折射出上海市民在时代浪潮中的坚韧、矛盾与自我调适。社会学、心理学、哲学与文学批评等视角的交叉透视，进一步揭示了阿宝作为“意义容器”的阐释潜力。本文旨在为《繁花》的人物研究提供新的批评视野。
Abstract: Jin Yucheng’s novel Blossoms (Fan Hua) reconstructs half a century of Shanghai’s urban memory through Shanghainese narration. Its central character, A Bao, embodies complex cultural connotations and spiritual tensions. This paper employs close reading, narrative analysis, and cultural criticism to offer a multidimensional interpretation of A Bao’s character from three levels: textual features, cultural context, and interdisciplinary perspectives. The paper argues that A Bao’s "Bu Xiang" (silence/non-response) is not only a characterological trait but also a survival strategy and an ethical stance. Positioned at the intersection of urban transformation, tradition and modernity, and human sentiment versus material interest, his character reflects the resilience, contradictions, and self-adaptation of Shanghai citizens in the tides of the era. The cross-perspective examination through sociology, psychology, philosophy, and literary criticism further reveals the interpretive potential of A Bao as a “container of meaning.” This study aims to provide a new critical vision for the study of characters in Blossoms.
