《灿烂千阳》中玛丽亚姆的主体性身份建构——基于仪式阈限理论视角的分析

摘要: 本文以仪式阈限理论中“分离—阈限—聚合”模式为核心框架，对《灿烂千阳》中女主人公玛丽亚姆的主体性身份建构过程进行分析。在分离阶段，玛丽亚姆因阿富汗传统性别秩序对自我认知的影响和对行为决策的操控而陷入主体性身份缺失。在阈限阶段，她以沉默、观察为策略，逐步觉醒主体意识；继而通过缔结女性同盟、反抗性别规训实现对主体性身份的探索。在聚合阶段，她牺牲自我，以生命为代价在女性共同体与民族共同体中完成主体性身份的乌托邦式建构。通过对玛丽亚姆主体性身份建构过程的分析，本文旨在揭示阈限阶段对个体主体性生成的关键价值，力图为理解当代社会更广泛群体的自我觉醒与身份抗争提供新的文学研究思路。
Abstract: Based on the framework of “separation—liminality—aggregation” in in ritual liminality theory, this paper explores the construction of Mariam’s subjective identity in A Thousand Splendid Suns. In the separation phase, dominated by Afghanistan’s patriarchal oppression that manipulates her self-perception and behavioral choices, Mariam suffers from a severe lack of subjective identity. In the liminal phase, she adopts silence and observation as survival strategies to gradually awaken her subjective consciousness ; furthermore, she establishes female solidarity and resists patriarchal discipline to further explore her self-hood. In the aggregation phase, Mariam sacrifices her life and ultimately accomplishes the utopian construction of subjective identity within female and national communitas. This study reveals the pivotal value of the liminal stage for the formation of individual subjectivity, aiming to offer innovative literary research perspectives for understanding self-awakening and identity struggles of broader groups in contemporary society.
