古籍在通行文字中的用字问题
On the Correct Representation of Ancient Chinese Books in Modern Standardization

摘要: 对我国优秀传统文化的弘扬离不开对古籍进行取其精华的编辑工作。但是在目前的书稿中，存在着古籍中用字的混乱现象。论文通过分析相关语言现象，提出：用通行文字书写古籍原文，本质上是以现今通用规范文字这一古所未有的文字系统对古籍进行再整理。从这一本质出发，提出应该遵守（1）使用通用规范文字和（2）尽量贴合古籍的原貌两条基本原则，原则（1）应该优先于原则（2）。论文最后讨论了语言文字在现实使用上的纠葛现象，以及相应的应对建议。
Abstract: China’s excellent traditional culture is highly connected to the ancient books. However, in current manuscript editing, there exists some confusion in the use of characters in ancient books. By analyzing relevant linguistic phenomena, this paper proposes that writing the original texts of ancient books in common characters is essentially a reorganization of Chinese ancient texts, by using the current standardized common characters—a writing system that never existed in ancient times. Starting from this essence, it suggests that two basic principles should be followed: (1) using standardized common characters; (2) staying as close as possible to the original appearance of the ancient texts. Principle (1) should take precedence over principle (2). The paper also discusses the entanglements in the actual use of language characters, and makes suggestions on how to deal with them.
