摘要: 本文以外研版小学英语四年级教材为研究对象,聚焦该学段学生“具象思维主导、注意力易分散”的认知特点与教材插图“生活化、故事化”的设计特色,探索人工智能(AI)技术与课本插图的融合应用路径。通过文献研究法、课堂观察法及案例分析法,结合外研版四年级上册Module4《Shopping》单元设计“AI+插图”教学实践,研究结果表明:该融合模式能显著提升学生英语学习参与度,助力四年级学生实现“对话听说”向“短文理解”的平稳过渡。本研究为使用外研版教材的小学中年级英语教师提供了可操作的教学方案,同时为AI技术在特定版本、特定学段英语教学中的落地提供了实践参考。
Abstract: This paper takes the English textbook for Grade 4 of the Foreign Language Edition for Primary Schools as the re- search object , focusing on the cognitive characteristics of students in this grade stage , which are " dominated by concrete thinking and prone to distraction" , and the design features of textbook illustrations that are " life - oriented and story - like" . It explores the integration application path of artificial intelligence ( AI) technology and textbook illustrations. Through litera- ture research method , classroom observation method and case analysis method , combined with the design of " AI + illustra- tion " teaching practice in the Module 4 " Shopping" unit of the fourth grade of the Foreign Language Edition , the results show that this integration model can significantly enhance students’participation in English learning and help fourth - grade students achieve a smooth transition from " dialogue and listening" to " understanding of short texts" . The research provides an opera- tional teaching plan for primary school middle - grade English teachers using the Foreign Language Edition textbooks , and also provides practical references for the implementation of AI technology in English teaching of a specific version and specific grade.
