高利害英语考试对大学英语口语教学的反拨效应

Chinese Abstract: 为探析大学生笔试成绩与英语口语能力脱节的成因，本研究以高利害英语考试与口语培养关系为研究对象，依托反拨效应理论采用理论分析法开展研究。结果表明，高利害英语考试从课程设置、课堂教学、学生学习行为形成持续反拨效应，课程目标、教学实践与考试评价结构性失衡造成口语教学边缘化。本研究建议统筹推进大学英语教育评价改革，构建多元口语评价体系，运用人工智能语音测评打造人机协同评价模式，充分激发考试的正向反拨效应。
Abstract: To explore the causes of the mismatch between undergraduates' written test scores and oral English proficiency, this paper takes the relationship between high-stakes English tests and oral competence cultivation as the research object, and carries out a study by adopting the theoretical analysis method based on washback effect theory. The results reveal that high-stakes English tests produce sustained washback effects on curriculum arrangement, classroom teaching, and students’ learning behaviors. The structural imbalance among curriculum objectives, teaching practice and assessment marginalizes oral English teaching. This study proposes to promote the reform of college English educational assessment, establish a diversified oral assessment system, and leverage AI speech evaluation to construct a human-machine collaborative assessment model, so as to fully stimulate the positive washback effect of examinations.
