Chinese Abstract: 在身体社会学与感官理论视域下，视觉、听觉、语言是人类认知世界、构建社会关系、融入公共秩序的三大核心感官维度，健全、统一的视听语言体系，是主流社会界定“正常”、划分群体、掌控社交权力的核心标准。东西的《没有语言的生活》以盲、聋、哑三人组成的特殊家庭为叙事载体，构建出一个丧失完整感官的社会边缘生存空间。小说将身体感官的残缺转化为具象的沟通壁垒，让三位主人公持续陷入物质生存窘迫、人际社交隔绝与精神情感缺失的多重困境。本文从“感官壁垒的具象割裂”、“壁垒催生的多重困境”、“健全文明的人性反思”三个维度展开分析，揭示感官差异不只是生理现象，更是社会排斥的载体，探究感官差异被社会异化、遭受身份歧视的现实问题，挖掘作品超越底层苦难书写的深层人文思考。
Abstract: From the perspectives of bodily sociology and sensory theory, vision, hearing, and language constitute the three core sensory dimensions through which humans perceive the world, construct social relationships, and integrate into public order; a sound-and-visual linguistic system that is both comprehensive and unified serves as the central criterion for mainstream society in defining what is "normal," categorizing groups, and exercising social authority. In A Life Without Language, the novel employs a unique family composed of a blind, deaf, and mute member as its narrative vehicle, constructing a marginal existence space within a society where complete sensory perception has been lost. The novel transforms the impairment of bodily senses into tangible communication barriers, plunging the three protagonists into multiple predicaments characterized by material survival hardships, social isolation, and a lack of spiritual and emotional fulfillment. This paper conducts an analysis from three dimensions: "the concrete fragmentation caused by sensory barriers," "the multiple dilemmas arising from these barriers," and "reflections on a healthy human nature"; it reveals that sensory differences are not merely physiological phenomena but also vehicles for social exclusion, explores the real-world issues wherein such differences are alienated by society and subjected to identity discrimination, and delves into the profound humanistic reflections embedded within the work beyond its depiction of grassroots suffering.
