The Digital Reconstruction of Cultural Memory: Identity Construction and Dissemination Pathways of Cultural and Tourism Micro-Short Dramas

Chinese Abstract: 在政策引导与技术进步的双重驱动下，文旅微短剧已从早期草莽生长的娱乐产品，逐步演变为承载地域文化符号、激活历史遗产价值的新型视听载体。本文以“文化记忆的数字化重构”为核心分析框架，选取《三星堆：未来启示录》《重回永乐大典》《东坡先生赶考记》《关于我的祖宗是诸葛亮这件小事》四部代表性作品，考察其如何通过叙事再编码、技术再中介与空间再生产三重路径，将离散的文化遗迹、典籍与人物转化为可被当代受众感知、参与和认同的活态文化资源。研究认为，文旅微短剧的深层效能不在于情绪刺激的即时性，而在于它以轻量化形态完成了文化记忆的跨时空转译——在算法分发与用户共创的媒介生态中，为历史认同的再生产提供了一条兼具渗透力与延展性的传播通道。
Abstract: Driven by both policy guidance and technological advancement, cultural and tourism micro-short-form dramas have evolved from early, grassroots entertainment products into a new type of audiovisual medium that carries regional cultural symbols and activates the value of historical heritage. Using "the digital reconstruction of cultural memory" as its core analytical framework, this paper examines four representative works—Sanxingdui: An Apocalypse of the Future, Return to the Yongle Encyclopedia, Mr.Dongpo's Journey to the Imperial Examination, and The Small Story of My Ancestor Being Zhuge Liang—to explore how these works transform fragmented cultural relics, classical texts, and historical figures into living cultural resources that can be perceived, engaged with, and embraced by contemporary audiences through three distinct pathways: narrative re-encoding, technological re-intermediation, and spatial reproduction. The study argues that the profound efficacy of cultural and tourism micro-short-form dramas does not lie in the immediacy of emotional stimulation, but rather in their ability to achieve a cross-temporal and spatial translation of cultural memory through a lightweight format; within a media ecosystem characterized by algorithmic distribution and user co-creation, they provide a communication channel for the reproduction of historical identity—one that possesses both permeability and scalability.
