Chinese Abstract: 张光宇的艺术创作涉及漫画、装饰绘画与设计等多个领域，其作品形成了鲜明的装饰性视觉语言。传统戏曲、民间年画、版画和传统人物画中的程式化、平面化与夸张变形等造型经验，为张光宇的艺术创作提供了重要基础；20世纪现代艺术的发展，则进一步强化了其对于形体关系、空间处理与画面构成的形式意识。《民间情歌》与《西游漫记》呈现了张光宇装饰语言的发展过程。传统视觉资源在其创作中并未以既有样式直接延续，而是在选择、提炼和重新组织的过程中转化为新的造型语言。《西游漫记》将传统神话人物、山水图式与现代社会生活中的视觉元素置于同一画面，通过人物形体的夸张与变形、空间关系的压缩以及画面结构的重新安排，形成鲜明的装饰性特征，并使画面形式与叙事、现实讽刺相互关联。张光宇装饰艺术的现代性，并不表现为传统样式与现代艺术形式的简单拼合，而体现于传统视觉经验在现代艺术实践中的重新处理。其所呈现的民族形式，也不应理解为对传统图像样式的直接延续，而是在现代视觉语言的发展过程中，通过对传统资源的选择、改造与重组所形成的新的形式表达。
Abstract: Zhang Guangyu's artistic practice encompassed cartoons, decorative painting, and design, developing a distinctive decorative visual language. The stylization, flatness, exaggeration, and deformation found in traditional Chinese opera, folk New Year prints, woodblock prints, and traditional figure painting provided important formal resources for his artistic practice, while the development of twentieth-century modern art further strengthened his awareness of formal relationships among figure, space, and pictorial composition. Folk Love Songs and Journey to the West: A Pictorial Record reveal the development of Zhang's decorative language. Traditional visual resources were not directly retained in their established forms but were transformed into a new formal language through processes of selection, refinement, and reorganization. In Journey to the West: A Pictorial Record, Zhang brought traditional mythological figures, landscape motifs, and visual elements associated with modern social life into the same pictorial space. Through the exaggeration and deformation of figures, the compression of spatial relationships, and the reconfiguration of pictorial structure, the work developed a distinctive decorative character while linking visual form with narrative and social satire. The modernity of Zhang Guangyu's decorative art does not lie in a simple juxtaposition of traditional forms and modern artistic styles, but in the reworking of traditional visual experience within modern artistic practice. The "national form" embodied in his work should likewise not be understood as a direct continuation of traditional visual conventions, but as a new mode of formal expression produced through the selection, transformation, and reorganization of traditional resources in the development of modern visual language.
